Training: Initiate Bootcamp

Course Description

This is a five day hands-on course which teaches the core tools and concepts to achieve technical self-sufficiency with the Initiate software. The course covers a wide variety of tasks that are fundamental to the implementation process, such as using Workbench, working with data extracts, performing a bulk cross match (BXM), analyzing data quality, generating weights, modifying algorithms, performing threshold analysis and testing strategies.

The course is aimed at Implementation Consultants and Project Managers.

Pre-requisites

The student will have prior experience with database systems or enterprise software implementation.

This course is owned by Initiate systems, and ReStart is the accredited trainer for Europe and some Asia countries.

Skills Gained

  • Install and configure the core Initiate Master Data Service™
  • Describe key components of the data model and data dictionary
  • Create an identity algorithm based on a person’s common identifiers
  • Create a CloverETL graph to prepare a data extract for derivation
  • Explain data derivation and what tools are used to derive data
  • Generate weights on a new set of data
  • Load data and run a Bulk Cross Match (BXM) to generate entities and tasks
  • Use Workbench to perform threshold analysis, entity analysis, and bucket analysis
  • Deploy and configure Initiate Inspector using Apache Tomcat web server
